The leap to go solo came after many years with Faye working with photographers in all areas of the photographic industry, but to her employers styles and carrying with her the need for liberation to express her own style. After becoming a member of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) in 2006, Faye Collyer established Phase Photographic.
After leaving her Crawley Town life to start a fresh photography career in the West Country, Somerset, Faye now returns back to the South bringing along her unique styles, skills and experiences making Phase Photographic a varied and distinct service. Unlike other photographers you may have looked at, Faye has an understanding and familiarity that is evident in the diversity of her clients and work.
As an enthusiastic professional with an extensive knowledge of the photographic industry, professionalism and supreme quality come as standard for any services she provides. Faye's enthusiasm and flair lies in photographing people, whether it be portraiture or reportage. Combining this with her relaxed, friendly and approachable personality, you get a connection between the camera and subject that results in aspiring and imaginative photographs.
Faye was born and grew up in West Sussex and spent her time scanning the streets of Crawley for photographic opportunities, now with over a decade of experience Faye brings the most modern photography together with the latest technology and a broad knowledge of modern and traditional skills and techniques strengthened by her time studying at the Yeovil Photographic College, Venture Portraits with the BIPP. She has an exceptional creative eye and style, which is demonstrated by her unique expert digital art work.
Faye obtained her Diploma at University in Bath and dedicated much of her time and attention to her studies thriving in Photoshop, developing an advanced knowledge in the field enabling her to get to the high standard she has achieved today; Faye owns membership with Adobe themselves.
